Jungle Cruise was Dwayne Johnson’s dream project inspired by Pirates - Polygon

Dwayne Johnson is everywhere because he wants to be. A prodigy born from the WWE, the performer is not only one of the few pro wrestlers to make the jump to Hollywood’s big time, but also stick around for 20 years. That might be because, in the mid-2010s, Johnson decided to leverage the currency of his stardom to start his own production company, Seven Bucks Productions, to make his biggest dreams come true. One of those dreams was to make his own Pirates of the Caribbean (because, like Polygon, The Rock really loves Pirates of the Caribbean). That’s where Jungle Cruise came in.

“DJ always had a dream of doing a big Disney movie,” Hiram Garcia, president of Seven Bucks Productions, tells Polygon. “He was so enamored with Pirates. The first time he saw the first trailer for Pirates, and seeing that ride come to life, and what the ride meant to fans, to see that world, he was always like, ‘Man, I hope one day I can get to a point where Disney would would want to do something like that with me.’”

In the early days, Johnson was always trying to crack the code of what a larger-than-life, wrestling-anointed performer was supposed to do on the big screen. His major break came from 2001’s The Mummy Returns, with his cameo as the Scorpion King, a role souped up with then-state-of-the-art-technology. (“The Scorpion King came in a really tough time of CG,” Garcia says with a laugh. “If you ever go back and watch that he was really not involved.”) But Johnson spun a moment of cringe into a franchise — his work on the series spinoff The Scorpion King would set the adventurous tone for his career. He dabbled in kids movies, connected with auteurs, latched himself on to the Fast franchise, but eventually Johnson figured himself out. Part of that was establishing Seven Bucks Productions, in order to do what he really wanted to do: make giant movies that mass audiences want to see. Some might raise an eyebrow over Johnson’s commerce-meets-art approach, but as Garcia puts it, that’s just the P.T. Barnum-esque dream.

“We absolutely love four-quadrant storytelling,” Garcia says. “I think for us — Dany [Garcia, Seven Bucks co-founder], Dwayne, myself — we’ve always been fans of four-quad movies like Jurassic Park, ET, Back to the Future, the kind of storytelling that you can take the whole family to, eight to 80, everyone has a good time. That’s the maximum version of a big communal theatrical experience.”

The plan has translated to everything from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle to Rampage to Stephen Merchant’s more intimate wrestling-themed comedy Fighting with My Family. But Jungle Cruise, it turns out, is the culmination of a number of Johnson’s interests.

“Ironically, Jungle Cruise was DJ’s favorite ride,” Garcia says. “And luckily, Disney was in a place where they were interested in trying to get something go with Jungle Cruise. But DJ had this wish that we never even knew that he had this aspiration of like, ‘One day I want to, I want to be able to do that.’ So it all came together. It all came together in a great way just several years later from the first time we talked about it.”

While Jungle Cruise makes good on Johnson’s dream to lead a movie in the mold of Pirates, Indiana Jones, and The Mummy, it’s also given him another key collaborator: The Shallows and Non-Stop director Jaume Collet-Serra. The two forged such a connection on the set of the Disney adventure movie that Johnson recruited the director to helm his long-gestating comic book movie, Black Adam.

“I think everything that happened for a reason,” Garcia says with absolute glee in his voice. “I remember while we were filming Jungle Cruise, having a lunch with Jaume and being like, ‘Dude, you would be so perfect for Black Adam, let me pitch you this movie that we have this idea what we want to do. And luckily, he was like, ‘Oh, absolutely’ — it fit everything that he wanted to do. And Jaume, as you can imagine, having such a history in genre, and knowing edge and the kind of scares we wanted, he was perfect for Black Adam. But at the same time, I was also watching him do this big world-building movie with Jungle Cruise. So in Jaume, we could merge the all the elements we wanted for this.”

For more on Black Adam and Johnson’s future projects, check back next week for the rest of our interview with Garcia. Jungle Cruise is out now in theaters and Disney Plus Premier Access.

Pop star Kris Wu detained by Beijing police on suspicion of sexual assault - CBC.ca

Chinese-Canadian pop star Kris Wu has been detained by Beijing police on suspicion of rape, police announced Saturday, following an accusation the former member of the Korean boy band EXO lured young women into sexual relationships.

Wu, 30, earlier was accused by a teenager of having sex with her while she was drunk. Wu denied the accusation.

The teenager said seven other women contacted her to say Wu seduced them with promises of jobs and other opportunities. She said some were under 18 but gave no indication whether they were younger than China's age of consent of 14.

Wu has been "criminally detained" on suspicion of rape "in response to relevant information reported on the internet" including that he "repeatedly lured young women to have sexual relations," the police statement said. It gave no other details.

Wu has denied accusations

The pop star had previously denied the accusations. "There was no 'groupie sex'! There was no 'underage'!" Wu wrote last month on his social media account. "If there were this kind of thing, please everyone relax, I would put myself in jail!"

The news was trending as the no. 1 most searched topic on Weibo on Saturday night, and some users online started commenting on Wu's social media account, telling him to "Get out of China!"

Wu is a Canadian citizen, according to the police statement.

The official paper of the Communist Party, the People's Daily, weighed in on the case, saying in a short opinion post online that "Having a foreign nationality is not a protective talisman, and no matter how big the name is, there is no immunity."

Teen's interview published on website

The teenager publicized her accusations on social media and later in an interview with the internet portal NetEase. A day after that interview appeared, at least 10 brands including Porsche and Louis Vuitton broke off endorsement and other deals with Wu.

According to the interview, she thought she was meeting Wu for a career opportunity. Instead, his staff who was present forced her to drink. As someone who did not go to bars, she said her tolerance was low and she was drunk after two drinks. The next day, she woke up in Wu's bed. That morning, he was kind to her and promised to take care of her, she said.

The teenager said that was the beginning of what she had thought was their relationship. This was the case until March, when he stopped returning her messages.

At first, she said she felt sorry for herself. But after she learned that there were other women who had been treated similarly, she said she felt there were others who were worse off.

Police urged to investigate

"I don't believe this is just my own personal matter. You can even say that this is a problem with the atmosphere in China's entertainment circle," she said in the NetEase interview.

Wu said that he had met the young woman on Dec. 5, 2020, but "I didn't force her to drink," and "there was not this sort of 'details' she describes."

"I didn't expect my silence to encourage these rumours, and I couldn't stand it!" Wu previously wrote. "There were a lot of people there that day who can bear witness."

The teenager and Wu both said they had asked authorities to investigate.

Saturday's statement didn't mention that case and gave no information about the status of that investigation.

Chinese Canadian pop star and actor Kris Wu has been detained in Beijing on suspicion of rape, The New York Times and The Guardian report. The development comes weeks after a teenage university student accused Wu of pressuring her to drink alcohol, which she said led her to lose conscious and wake up in his bed the next day, as BBC News notes. The student also accused Wu of treating multiple young women in a similar manner.

The New York Times reports that the Chaoyang District branch of the Beijing police is detaining Wu while the department investigates the allegations that he “repeatedly deceived young women into sexual relations.”

Kris Wu, a former member of K-pop band Exo and an immensely popular artist in China, faced a massive online outcry in the wake of the allegations, leading brands including Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Porsche and L’OrĂ©al to cut ties with him. In posts made on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, Wu denied the allegations made by the student.

IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Go out of your way to live according to your highest principles this year – and insist that the people you deal with, both on a personal level and in your career, do the same. It’s not about rewards or applause, it’s about being the best Leo you can be.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

No matter how many things may have gone wrong for you over the past month or so the sun in your fellow fire sign of Leo guarantees they will go right for you now. Put a name to your dream, then stand back and watch it come true.

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

Make a point of helping a friend who is in trouble. Everyone knows you have a big heart but you’ve not had too many opportunities to show it in recent weeks. Now your talents are in demand again and you won’t let down those who need you.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

There will be times over the next 48 hours when what you say and what others think you have said may be completely different things. Is there something wrong with their hearing? Or something wrong with the way you are speaking? Either way, you’ll have to repeat yourself.

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

You rarely lack for good ideas and the sun’s union with mind planet Mercury this weekend means some of your insights into what can and cannot be done will be touched by genius. Think fast, talk fast and be first to turn ideas into actions.

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

The universe has a surprise for you and it is sure to be a good one. Stay sharp over the next 48 hours and don’t hesitate to act when an opportunity you had not expected presents itself. This is your time of year, so be amazing on every level.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

Because you can be a bit thin-skinned it’s no surprise that a rival’s comments and criticisms have got to you on an emotional level. To counter it you must rise above your feelings and deal only in logic and facts – the very areas where you excel.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

Put worries and woes behind you this weekend and spend time with your friends. Your critics may say you have more important things to do than enjoy yourself socially but you’ll do your work so much better when you are happy in both mind and body.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

If you have a vision of doing something special in life then now is the time to give that vision a name. Don’t be afraid to approach people in positions of authority if you think they can help make it happen. They’ll recognize your talent immediately.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

The restrictions you were laboring under earlier in the year have now been lifted and you can start making plans again. The only kind of plans you should have time for are the kind that leave others open-mouthed in amazement. It’s your time to shine Sag!

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

It is of the utmost importance that you stick to the facts this weekend, because if you deviate from the truth even an inch your enemies will pick up on it and make life tough for you. It’s a mistake to pretend something is true when clearly it isn’t.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

Get out and about this weekend. Have fun with your friends. More importantly, have fun with that one special person who has done so much for you in recent months. Let them know their support means more to you than all the success in the world.

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

You must make sure that your ideas are practical. What seems doable to you may seem the height of folly to others, so get someone you trust to look at what you are suggesting and pick out the pros and the cons. And don’t ignore their advice!

Amanda Knox blasts Matt Damon's 'Stillwater' for profiting off her story - Toronto Sun

Article content

LOS ANGELES — Amanda Knox, the American woman who was tried and acquitted of murder in Italy more than a decade ago, has hit out at a Hollywood movie that she said seeks to profit off her name without her consent.

Article content

Knox, who spent four years in jail in Perugia, Italy, before being acquitted of the 2007 murder of her roommate, expressed her frustration as “Stillwater” opened in U.S. movie theaters this week.

Director Tom McCarthy has said the Amanda Knox case inspired the film about an American oil rig worker who travels to France to help his daughter who is in prison for a murder she says she didn’t commit.

The movie, starring Matt Damon, is seen as a potential Oscar contender.

“Does my name belong to me? My face? What about my life? My story? Why does my name refer to events I had no hand in? I return to these questions because others continue to profit off my name, face, & story without my consent. Most recently, the film #STILLWATER,” Knox wrote in a lengthy post on her Twitter account on Thursday.

The Stillwater filmmakers did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

In a recent interview with the Toronto Sun, Damon said the film was loosely inspired by the Knox case, but is a “much more human story.”

“I think (co-writer and director) Tom (McCarthy) said the Knox case was a jumping off point,” Damon said. “But he was interested in what happens years later. When the cameras have gone away and the sensationalism dies down — what happens to the family? What if the dad was just a blue-collar guy from Oklahoma? What would life look like for these folks? … I don’t want anyone to go thinking it’s anything about Amanda Knox.”

Knox, now 34 and working as a criminal justice activist, said that the movie “reinforces an image of me as a guilty and untrustworthy person.”

We apologize, but this video has failed to load.

“I have not been allowed to return to the relative anonymity I had before Perugia,” Knox said. “My only option is to sit idly by while others continue to distort my character, or fight to restore my good reputation that was wrongfully destroyed.”

She invited McCarthy and Damon to hear her point of view by appearing on her “Labyrinths” podcast, which deals with issues ranging from justice to her personal life.

Rudy Guede, a local man, was found guilty of the murder in Perugia and was sentenced to 16 years in prison.

Amanda Knox blasts film 'Stillwater' for exploiting her case - CTV News

NEW YORK -- Amanda Knox is speaking out about her name being associated with the new film “Stillwater,” saying any connection rips off “my story without my consent at the expense of my reputation.”

“Stillwater” stars Matt Damon as a father who flies to France to help his estranged daughter, Allison, played by Abigail Breslin. She has been convicted and imprisoned for murdering her girlfriend in Marseille, in a case that has generated lurid headlines. Knox is never named on screen, but in interviews the filmmakers have noted her sensational case was an initial jumping off point for the script.

In tweets and an essay on the site Medium, Knox called out various publications and director Tom McCarthy for using her name to promote the movie. She wrote that his “fictionalized version of me is just the tabloid conspiracy guiltier version of me.”

“Does my name belong to me? Does my face? What about my life? My story? Why is my name used to refer to events I had no hand in? I return to these questions because others continue to profit off my name, face, and story without my consent,” she wrote.

Knox was the subject of worldwide headlines after the murder in Perugia, Italy, of British student Meredith Kercher in 2007. Knox and Knox's then-boyfriend were placed under suspicion. Both were initially convicted, but after a series of flip-flop decisions, Italy's highest court threw out the convictions in 2015. An unrelated man is serving a 16-year sentence for the murder.

“By fictionalizing away my innocence, my total lack of involvement, by erasing the role of the authorities in my wrongful conviction, McCarthy reinforces an image of me as a guilty and untrustworthy person,” Knox wrote.

At the Cannes Film Festival earlier this month, where “Stillwater” was screened, McCarthy said Knox's case served as an “initial inspiration point but not much beyond that. I just had a daughter then and I thought how it would be like.”

In an interview with The Associated Press to promote “Stillwater,” Breslin said she “didn't want to kind of copy or mimic” Knox's legal ordeal. “It's loosely inspired by that case, so I didn't want to try and do a recreation of that. I want Allison to kind of be her own stand-alone character, but it was definitely great to have that for a reference.”

Many reviews and feature stories about “Stillwater” have mentioned Knox as an inspiration for the plot, including The Associated Press. The film opens Friday. The studio releasing the film, Focus Features, didn't immediately respond to emails Friday.

Daily Horoscope For July 30, 2021 - Bustle

In this daily horoscope for July 30, Bustle’s resident astrologer Mecca Woods, founder of My Life Created, shares the astrological events happening today that will affect every zodiac sign. Below, here’s a look at how astrology will affect our lives today.

The moon finishes out her stay in go-getter Aries today, which should motivate us to get our tasks for the day out of the way so we can enjoy a relaxing start to the weekend. With the moon meeting up with lucky Jupiter in community-focused Aquarius by the late afternoon, teamwork is encouraged in meeting goals. It’s also a good day for getting together with friends and doing something fun.

Later in the afternoon the moon moves to laid-back Taurus, which invites us to kick back and chill for the evening. However, if we need a second wind, the Taurus moon meets up with Mars in hardworking Virgo toward the early evening, giving us an end-of-the-day push. This Moon-Mars aspect can also be helpful for hitting the gym, an organizing project, or handling financial matters.

Read below to see what the stars mean for your zodiac sign today, and make sure to check out your July 2021 monthly horoscope.

You’re in the mood to spend some cash. Look to ways that you can spend your dollars on items with long-term value or practical use. Doing something nice for a friend rewards you too.

The first half of the day might be slow-going, but you’re back in action toward the second half. Put that energy to good use with a workout or a fun activity. Romance gets spicy too.

If it feels like you’ve been running yourself ragged, honor your mind and your body by taking it down a notch and resting. Decluttering your bedroom or space fosters better sleep.

You might have a message that someone needs to hear. Consider sharing it on social media, on a podcast, or a blog post. If you have something to say, make your voice heard.

A self-assured attitude is the key to unlocking opportunity for yourself, especially where your career and finances are concerned. Don’t take no (or the first offer you get) for an answer.

    Margaret Flatley/Bustle

Don’t be afraid to live by your convictions or stand up for what you believe in today. When you’re grounded in yourself and your authenticity, you can’t lose. Do your thing.

    Margaret Flatley/Bustle

You might not be feeling your usual bubbly and social self today. That’s OK because some time spent by yourself is better than giving people energy that you don’t have right now.

    Margaret Flatley/Bustle

If you’ve been missing your friends, today’s a good time to reach out and connect with them, especially if you could use an extra pair of eyes or hands on a project.

    Margaret Flatley/Bustle

It’s time to drill down and focus on the things you want to build or accomplish. A slow-and-steady approach is the best route to take. Do something good for your body too.

    Margaret Flatley/Bustle

Some spontaneity and playtime will serve you well today, so try to step away from your desk. That said, you never know who you might meet — singles could find summer love.

    Margaret Flatley/Bustle

If you have something difficult to handle or hash out and it concerns a family member, don’t sweep it under the rug. Now’s the time to confront the issue head on. Be empowered.

    Margaret Flatley/Bustle

If there’s something you want, don’t wait for people to come and offer it. Go out and get it. Taking the lead or the initiative will help you to get where you want to be with the right people.

Inside Billie Eilish’s Lavish, Star-Studded Spotify Release Party for ‘Happier Than Ever’ - Variety

Spotify’s release party for Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever” album marks the slow return of events in Los Angeles and it did not disappoint as guests were transported to the cinematic world of the singer’s sophomore album — complete with immersive installations, insight into Eilish’s creative process and of course, a gaggle of celebrities.

Olivia Rodrigo, Ben Platt, Eric Andre, Jaden and Willow Smith, Khalid, Will.i.am and Dove Cameron were among those in attendance to support Eilish at the 1950s Beverly Hills estate, which featured a three-tiered patio overlooking a cerulean pool surrounded by dolphin-shaped fountains. All guests were required to take a rapid COVID-19 test at the Beverly Hilton Hotel before being handed a card containing the estate’s address.

The night carried a Gatsby-like air, as staff wearing pink and blue rompers welcomed guests at every turn, some even holding blue-and-white striped towels embroidered with the album’s name. The estate was outfitted with several different installations that allowed guests to experience the album in different ways — Billie Mode was a retro bedroom with pink velvet couches and classic TVs playing footage of Eilish; Lyric Mode was centered at the extravagant pool, around which lyrics to songs “Halley’s Comet,” “Everybody Dies” and “Male Fantasy” were scattered; and Fan Mode allowed guests to write notes to Eilish in a luscious garden.

The installations were a nod to Spotify’s first-ever artist hub, titled “Happier: The Destination.” Through the platform, fans can now replicate the experience of the release party by accessing exclusive content in three forms: Billie Mode, Lyric Mode and Fan Mode. Each mode includes exclusive interviews with Eilish, as she takes fans through her journey of making “Happier Than Ever.”

Other notable touches to the party included a palm tree fully painted blue, a classic white Thunderbird, a Koi pond that guests walked over using red bridges and an Impossible burger food truck with Eilish’s face on its side. But of course, the true star of the night was Eilish herself, who wore a red corset top underneath a black button down and leather pants with countless tassels. Throughout the night, Eilish stuck close by her rumored boyfriend, Matthew Tyler Vorce, a few friends and her brother and collaborator, Finneas, who was accompanied by his girlfriend, actor and influencer Claudia Sulewski.

As the clock struck nine, or midnight on the east coast, the time of the album’s official release, Eilish made her way from the pool level of the backyard to the second balcony to toast the arrival of “Happier Than Ever” — and to celebrate Finneas, whose birthday falls on July 30. “This album is my favorite thing that I’ve ever created,” Eilish said as the crowd cheered. “It was such a cathartic, and freeing, and satisfying, and fulfilling process. Finneas, wherever you are out here, thank you for being my brother and my best friend in the world, I love you so dearly and I’m fucking so stoked.”

After the crowd broke out into an impromptu rendition of the “Happy Birthday Song” in honor of Finneas, the entirety of “Happier Than Ever” played through the estate’s speakers. The collection is much more subdued compared to Eilish’s debut, but reflects a new maturity that shows Eilish truly coming into her own as an artist. As Variety‘s Chris Willman wrote in his review: “Her second full-length album hits a sweet spot where the mixed emotions and occasionally self-contradicting feelings about love and fame seem to spill out in real-time.”

Perhaps because it seemed oh-so-inviting (and what else were they going to do with those towels?), the night ended with Eilish and three friends jumping into the property’s pool, fully clothed. You couldn’t help but smile to see Eilish, who appears to take herself much more seriously than most 19-year-olds, swimming and splashing around while singing along to her own songs. As her child-like laugh carried throughout the party, Eilish genuinely seemed happier than ever.

Fantasy film The Green Knight has its own tabletop RPG that you can play at home - Polygon

The Green Knight, David Lowery’s fresh cinematic take on an old Arthurian legend, is now out and receiving rave reviews, including here at Polygon. The film, like so many others, was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but along the way the team at A24 ginned up a curious promotional item. It’s called The Green Knight: A Fantasy Roleplaying Game and, as far as one-shot RPGs go, it’s not half bad. But be warned: It contains some thematic spoilers for the mysterious fantasy-horror film.

You can pick up The Green Knight RPG for a modest $35 on the A24 website. Inside, you’ll find a 20-sided die, a lightly illustrated world map, The Game Master’s Guide, and five empty character sheets. There’s one for each of the game’s classes: the damage-dealing hunter, the leadership-focused knight, the powerful and charismatic sorcerer, the wealthy noble, and the bard, whose primary role appears to be buffing the party.

It’s all pretty standard stuff, when it comes down to it, right down to how encounters are handled with a 20-sided die. It’s just that the consequences of your actions in this RPG are very, very different.

Specifically, there are no hit points. That’s because, per The Game Master’s guide, “characters need not fear death — the ultimate punishment is dishonor.”

Each character has a sliding scale at the top of their character sheet. On the left-hand side is honor — symbolized by the golden crown Gawain wears in the film’s trailer. On the right-hand side is dishonor — symbolized by a weathered, jawless skull. Every action that a player takes during a session earns them honor or dishonor. It’s up to the game master — using guidance provided in the Guide and their own best judgement — to make that call every time. Hit 20 dishonor during an encounter, and you’re out until the next encounter rolls around.

The Game Master’s Guide itself is extremely well-written. The flavor text — copy that gets shared with the players — is short and sweet, with plenty of guidance for directing the action in each scene. In the finale, dishonor begins to pile up for every player every round, regardless of their actions. The result is a game that moves forward at a breakneck pace — perfect for a moody one-shot on a stormy night.

If I’ve got any complaints, it’s that there’s very little incentive for the players to work together as a party. It feels like the game has been custom-tailored for people more comfortable playing a board game than a proper RPG. Everyone gets their turn at cracking the code, as it were, of a given encounter before moving down the initiative order. That’s not necessarily a knock against it. All in all, it’s a thematic, fast-paced adventure perfect for a three- to four-hour sitting — including character creation.

So what’s it actually all about?

[Warning: What follows contains mild spoilers for The Green Knight: A Fantasy Roleplaying Game and for the plot of the film itself.]

The Green Knight RPG begins, like any good role-playing adventure, in a tavern. That’s where the players meet each other for the first time. In trading their stories, they realize they have a connection to the same mysterious warrior … whom they all met simultaneously exactly one year ago.

“You all harmed the Green Knight in some way,” reads the flavor text, “with the Knight’s promise that he would return the damage done to him ‘one year hence.’” Each player is on a quest to meet the Knight at his Green Chapel. Only then will their fate be resolved, and the debt they owe to the Knight repaid.

The Game Master’s Guide includes three encounters leading up to a climactic confrontation. Players will come across an ambush in the woods, a talking fox that may or may not be an angelic spirit living in those woods, and a mysterious apparition that invites players to secure a treasure hidden at the bottom of a lake. To resolve each scenario, players need to use their special skills, while managing their honor along the track at the top of the page.

Will they rescue the peasant, or succumb to the lies of a group of bandits? Will they kill the fox to feed a family, or set it free to roam the woods once more? Will they aid the apparition, or give in to greed once they’ve discovered the treasure in the lake? As mentioned above, few of these encounters require any real teamwork, but they are fun opportunities for making dramatic monologues along the way.

The only confusing bit inside the box is that world map. I have no idea what it’s actually for. The setting itself is dreamy and vaguely European, with locations that include a shack in the woods and a well-worn road. Nothing gets a name — certainly not any of the names included on the map. Likely it’s just a prop, intended to give direction to players eager to continue their adventure with one of the three paragraph-long hooks included as an appendix.

The Green Knight: A Fantasy Roleplaying Game is a complete one-shot experience for three to five players. It’s hardly a gameplay system to get invested in, which makes its premium price tag a bit hard to swallow. But, if you’re looking for a fun evening with role-playing newbies or something to use as a change of pace for your existing role-playing group, it’s a good diversion.
